Slavneft-YANOS uses Plant-4D to design hydrogen production facilities

Slavneft-YANOS used Plant-4D to design a set of hydrogen production facilities with the capacity of 40-45 m 3 / hour. Designs were carried out by a department of the Yaroslavl refinery Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez.
Due to the large workload, the whole project was divided and assigned to a number of engineers. A database of pipeline elements of domestic and global suppliers is available in DBMS Oracle. Pipeline elements in the database are divided into specific groups, which considerably reduce the workload of engineers.
It took one year to complete the design project. Six highly professional senior engineers were involved in developing the mounting facilities. Approximately 50000 elements of pipelines were used in the project altogether.

About Slavneft-YANOS
Novo-Yaroslavskiy refinery - JSC Slavneft-YANOS was founded in 1961. In 1995 the company was merged into the vertically integrated oil company Slavneft. Today Slavneft-YANOS is one of the 10 largest oil-producing companies in Russia with about 4500 employees.
Slavneft-YANO processes about 13.5 million tons of crude oil annually. Refinery products include motor gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene and jet fuel, a wide range of oils, bitumen, paraffin and wax products, aromatic hydrocarbons and LPG. In 2009, Slavneft-YANO's market shares in Russia are as follows: motor gasolines 6.5%, aviation kerosene 8.8%, and diesel fuel 5.5%. Approximately 25% of the motor gasoline produced at the refinery meets the requirements of the Euro-3 standard. More than half of diesel fuel produced complies with the Euro-5 standard. Constant modernization of the production facilities at the refinery has led to a significant increase of oil conversion rate from 60.41% in 2000 to 65.68% in 2009. During the same period yield of light oil products increased from 50.9% to 57.3%.
In 2005 YANOS was the first Russian refinery to commercialize Premium Euro-95 motor gasoline and diesel fuel with sulphur content of 50 ppm (Euro-4 standard). In 2007 the refinery launched a new product - a clean ultra low sulphur diesel fuel EN 590 with sulphur content of 10 ppm (Euro-5 standard).
Slavneft-YANOS has won numerous titles of best enterprise not only in Russia but internationally. Many refinery products were highlighted on the list of ´One hundred best commodities of Russia´. In 2009 JSC Slavneft-YANOS was awarded a prestige prize by the Russian government for the superior quality of its products.
