CSoft Group, CEA Systems partner in Russia, hosted a Plant-4D User Conference in Moscow at the Holiday Inn Sokolniki Hotel on April 12^th 2011. The conference showcased how Plant-4D has been used in all stages of project life cycles, and to address questions about its advanced features. Warm greetings were extended to CEA Systems executives Maurice de Clercq and Erik Zijlmans by leading experts from the following companies: Ukrhimproekt, Giprogaztsentr, Giprovostokneft, SRIDS Metaprocess, Ammofos, MRCA, VNIIAES and others. Plant-4D services industries that extensively involve the use of pipelines: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Food, Paper & Pulp, Pharmaceutical, Power Plants, Water, Shipbuilding and Pump Stations.

For the first half of the conference, Mr. de Clercq introduced the newest features of Plant-4D. He emphasized the successful adaptation of Plant-4D to Russian Standards. Mr. Zijlmans presented the scenario of a company working in a Plant-4D multi-user environment, highlighting the utilization of the solution in all stages of an industrial project life cycle.

For the second half of the conference, participants submitted their entries for 'The Best Design Made in Plant-4D' Contest. Ukrhimproekt, Novo-Yaroslavskiy Refinery, Giprovostokneft and Giprogaztsentr intuitively displayed the uniqueness of their projects by delivering informative and vivid illustrations.

The winning project of the contest was 'Construction of wells and the South Khylchuyu oil field' by Giprovostokneft. The winner was selected by the combined results of an internet voting, the assessments of participating experts, and the assessments of the CEA Systems executives.

The conference ended with a 'Question & Answer' session to discuss Plant-4D user specific needs and details.  And everyone in the room agreed they left the conference with new tools that will considerably improve their already efficient solution.
